Sole quality engineer for a workforce-management SaaS, owning test strategy, automation and release gates.

Built a 1,081-case test library from zero across 24 functional areas and automated 279 cases with Playwright, Pytest and Appium on web, iOS and Android.
Manage the test infrastructure as code in AWS CDK (ECR, ECS, Fargate, S3, EC2); the suite runs in Docker on Fargate from an image GitHub Actions builds and pushes to ECR.
Extend the web and mobile apps' GitHub Actions build and deployment workflows to run automated tests, and use GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted code review on pull requests.
Caught 70 defects through automation, 92% of all automation-found defects logged company-wide, with one false alarm, and ran 4,232 executions across 69 release cycles.
Drafted 67% of the library with Claude Code, requiring each generated test to prove it can fail; built a Claude and MCP test-impact agent.
Reproduced a kiosk lockout outage the day assigned, measured 2,487 rate-limited requests from 13 sign-ins in 150 seconds, and caught a gap in the proposed fix.
Convened and ran the go/no-go and late-evening deployment of an expedited payroll release, through a same-session rollback when live testing caught defects; no customer affected.
Own the Quality Engineering Strategy, adding deployment frequency and change failure rate; built 3 reports that rebuild themselves from Jira, Zephyr and GitHub.
